A few pics of our day preparing and performing A Christmas Carol Cantata by Deborah McAndrew and Ashley Thompson.
Thanks to Sarah at the Wedgwood Institute for having us. The building really came to life thanks to our lighting designer, John Slevin.
Huge showbiz shout of thanks to all our amazing singers and musicians, producer Helen, and our wonderful audience.
God bless us everyone!
Advice for any of you lucky enough to get tickets for our Christmas Carol Cantata at the Wedgwood Institute this Sunday. It’s a beautiful, historic building, but it doesn’t have 21st century heating, so please wrap up. Good job there’ll be a drop of mulled wine to keep us warm! See you there.

We are delighted to have recently been joined by Helen Slevin who will be acting as Producer for Claybody.
Helen comes to us after seven years working for the New Vic Theatre. As well as being a member of the New Vic’s Stage Management team, Helen also produced their Hoard Festival – a large-scale event made up of 21 new pieces of work all taking the Staffordshire Hoard as their inspiration.
Helen says ‘I am extremely happy to be working as Producer for Claybody Theatre. Deborah and Conrad’s passion for a well told story, and Stoke-on-Trent, shines through in all their Claybody work and I am really looking forward to helping facilitate the exciting and ambitious projects Claybody have in the pipeline.’
